Basic Work Place First Aid, 6401,6402

This is the ideal course for those who haven’t received any first aid training in the past. The course is a full day covering; how to assess a scene, CPR and choking in adults, children and infants, how to use a defibrillator. We will also be teaching you how to assess bleeding, breaks, burns and poisoning and much more.

8 hours including 30 min lunch break.

Basic Work Place First Aid, 6401,6402 Refresher

If you have already done a Basic Work Place First Aid course but it’s been a while since you have or you need a refresher; this course is for you. We will go back over everything in the Starter Course above.

4 hours including 30 minute lunch break.

CPR Specific, 6402

This course is a much more specific course designed for basic life support in an emergency situation. Here we run through emergency situations and assess them, teach CPR and techniques to relive choking in adults, children and infants, AED use, as well as unconscious victim management.

3 hours including 20 minute break.

Full First Aid Course, 6400, 6401 and 6402

This is the ideal course for those who need a full first aid qualification for home or work. The course is a full day and a half covering; how to assess a scene, CPR and choking in adults, children and infants, how to use a defibrillator. Bleeding, burns, breaks, poisoning, medical emergencies, shock, casualty movement. We will also be teaching you how to assess bleeding, shock, burns and poisoning and much more. Tested with scenario’s involving realistic casualties and scenes.

2 Days including 30 min lunch breaks

Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) / Fire Fighter First Aid Course 23406

This is the gold standard course taught to NZ Fire Service and other emergency services. This course is a full 2 day’s, covering; how to assess a scene, CPR and choking in adults, children and infants, how to use a defibrillator. Bleeding, burns, breaks, traumatic injuries, poisoning, medical emergencies, shock, casualty movement, airways, bag valve masking, oxygen delivery, stretcher use, trapped casualty management, inter-agency work. Tested with scenario’s involving realistic casualties and scenes catered to the students specific work environment.

2 Days including 30 min lunch breaks

Medical Team Training Course

This course is aimed at medical or emergency teams wanting to prepare themselves to work in emergencies as teams. Uses proven team skillsets designed from emergency rooms and the battlefields to ensure teams are well rehearsed and ready to deal with any situation.

Health and Safety 497 and 17593

This is the ideal course for those who need Health and Safety in the Workplace training. The 497 covers the basics and is great for all staff members. The 17593 is designed to create the next level of understanding of Health and Safety in the Workplace and is a must for your workplace Health and Safety representative to ensure your workplace is as safe as it can be.

Each course is 1 Day including 30 min lunch break.

Rural Fire Safety 3285

The safety of everyone at vegetation fires is first and foremost, irrespective of the urgency of the situation. 

This includes turning up to the incident, preparing to respond, traveling to the incident, size up of the situation, proper hazard identification and risk assessment.

It is paramount that nobody takes unnecessary risks that may cause harm to themselves or others.
